Continuity Editing Exercise

Continuity Editing Exercise

As practice for my final project, I had to film Karolina walking through a door, and talking to Lily. I had to follow the 180 degree rule and use match on match editing.
For the 180 degree rule, I had to ensure that all the filming I did took place on one side of Karolina.  For the match on match editing I had to film Karolina opening the door on one side and then show her coming through the door on the other side without showing the door opening twice.
I then had to edit my footage to ensure that the clip was well timed and didn't have any pauses or spaces of silence so that it looked like a conversation.

The camera shots I used were a tracking shot, mid shots and medium close ups. I didn't use any different camera angles because I wanted to be at the same level as Karolina and Lily.
